Psalms 33:3
KJV
Our name and logo for "Thru Fath" are not accidental. The name was chosen by band manager, Andre Carrao.
Andre explains, "it came from Ephesians 2:8-9."
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -
and this not of yourselves, it is a gift of God."
The logo was designed by bass player, Bob Pasero. Each part of the logo has a meaning. The red symbolizes the blood that Jesus shed for our sins. The red border of the word "Fath" is a reminder that the blood of Christ covers us with forgiveness. The blue is for the royalty of Jesus as the King of kings, and Lord of lords. The misspelling of the words is intentional, reminding us that we all make mistakes - that we are all sinners, saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Most of us choose to put the logo on a white shirt to signify the purity and innocence of Jesus.
We hope now when you see the logo you see more than just the name of a band.

The VICCC praise band, THRU FATH, entertains the crowd at National Night Out on 8/7/01 in Orland. National Night out is an off shoot of the Neighborhood Watch program to prevent crime. A christian band at a secular event??? Things are looking up! Praise God! |
